Detail Engineering and design

Value Engineering & Feasibility studies

Value Engineering: Value Engineering ensures a reduced cost, added value, analysis of life-cycle and maintainability. Our team of project managers carefully consider all aspects of the project when making value engineering proposals to each client.

Feasibility studies: Pre-feasibility and feasibility studies are preliminary studies undertaken in the very early stage of a project and are carried out when a project is large or complex, or where there is some doubt or controversy regarding the proposed development. Through these studies, we establish whether the project is viable or not and help identify feasible options.

Proof checking & Detailed design

Proof Checking: Proof check includes all structural designs/drawings, basis geometry and work. We review the maintenance and quality assurance manuals, periodic supervision of the grade Interchange. We also review preliminary design and detail design through an independent design and analysis on all geometrical, structural and safety aspect.

Detailed design: Detailed design is the process of taking on and developing the approved concept design to ensure that the design is dimensionally correct and co-ordinated. It describes all the main components of the building and how they fit together. We study the technical aspects of the design and point out inadequacies that may require further development.

Bid process management

VMC assists its clients in bid process management to enable them to maximize the range of qualified bidders available for a project, and to optimize the techno-commercial selection process from the government’s perspective. In the course of offering these services, VMC:

  • Defines a transparent bidding process.
  • Undertakes the necessary documentation such as the request for   proposal document, the draft concession agreement, the shareholders’ and other documentation.
  • Supports the client in negotiations with selected bidder and signing of the concession agreement.
